WHAT ARE THE "AGAINST" THE SHAMPOO WITHOUT SULPHATES?
But if sulfates are still running these risks, even just "cosmetic" because they use them? Well, if you remember the beginning of the post, the reason is that they also make a little something good. First, the SLES and SLS are cheap: this is why cosmetic houses tend to use them more. Ergo: the shampoos that do not contain them rarely cost less than 10 € and, often, also coming to the 15/20 €.
Secundis, SLS and SLES are what allow the foam, then, the shampoos that do not have it, do not foam. They are often the oils and not all love this consistency because it is more difficult to distribute on the head, unless you do not have very short hair.

In this case, we recommend not to put on the hand, as is usually done, the amount of product that we want to use and start massaging a point of the head, then "expand". It is better, rather, putting little product to be massaged on a small area and repeat the various points of the head, so being able to better distribute the cleansing action of the shampoo.
In ultimis, few of these products are found in the supermarket. It's easier to find them in the pharmacy or health store.

The Sqanorm line is all SLS and SLES, but we we can talk in terms of line dedicated to the oily dandruff. It is very good and that is what, in the end, we bought back all for a winning combination: not much money and a minimum foam production that makes it more enjoyable and convenient application. The results are top, but we have a hesitation on the after-shampoo of the same line: until dry the hair with the hair dryer, so good, but if at some point you would like it aside (for example, because there are 50 degrees in the shade), then prepare to not weighed down or greasy hair, but a little 'yes plates.

A great classic that, in fact, it works. It has a pro and cons: it is the only of these that can be easily found in the supermarket but is also the only one who does not even have a hint of foam, making it just as an oil. You have to do a little 'more attention.

This is a great product, which, in some way, has opened the world of SLES-free and made us understand the problem of oily dandruff. The preshampoo (30 €) is fantastic! Unique Demerit notes, priced a bit 'high and a strong smell of pine. The results, however, are seen.

Anche chi ha la forfora secca, poi non giova certo di un ingrediente che punta a togliere anche quel poco di sebo che c’è, arrivando facilmente alla desquamazione. Idem per chi soffre di dermatiti.
E ancora: chi si lava molto spesso i capelli, o perché grassi (e il rischio è poi lo stesso di chi ha forfora) o per motivo sportivi o di stile di vita, potrebbe effettivamente, a lungo andare irritare il cuoio capelluto o aggredire troppo la radice dei capelli – per esempio, opacizzandola. Usando, quindi, shampoo senza SLS e SLES, potrebbe ritrovare una chioma leggera e luminosa.
QUALI SONO I “CONTRO” DEGLI SHAMPOO SENZA SOLFATI?
Ma se i solfati fanno comunque correre questi rischi, anche solo “estetici”, perché adoperarli? Beh, se vi ricordate l’inizio del post, il perché consiste nel fatto che fanno anche qualcosina di buono. In primis, SLES e SLS sono economici: ecco perché le case cosmetiche tendono ad usarli sempre. Ergo: gli shampoo che non li contengono raramente costano meno di 10€ e, spesso, arrivano anche a 15/20€.
In secundis, SLES e SLS sono ciò che permettono la schiuma, quindi, gli shampoo che non ce l’hanno, non fanno schiuma. Sono spesso degli oli e non tutte amano questa consistenza anche perché è più difficile da distribuire sulla testa, a meno che non si abbiano i capelli molto corti.

In questo caso consigliamo di non mettere sulla mano, come di solito si fa, la noce di prodotto che vogliamo utilizzare e iniziare a massaggiare un punto della testa, per poi “espanderci”. È meglio, piuttosto, mettere poco prodotto da massaggiare su una piccola zona e ripetere nei vari punti della testa, riuscendo così a distribuire meglio l’azione detergente dello shampoo.
In ultimis, pochi di questi prodotti si trovano al supermercato. È più facile trovarli in farmacia o in parafarmacia.
QUALI SONO I MIGLIORI?
Abbiamo avuto modo di testare parecchi di questi shampoo senza SLES e SLS su una testa con sia cuoio capelluto delicato che con forfora grassa. E questa è la lista di quelli che, sulla nostra esperienza, sono i migliori shampoo senza solfato!

La linea Sqanorm è tutta senza SLES e SLS, ma noi ne possiamo parlare per quanto riguarda la linea dedicata alla forfora grassa. È ottimo ed è quello che, alla fine, abbiamo ricomprato di tutti per una combinazione vincente di: prezzo non eccessivo e una minima produzione di schiuma che rende più piacevole e comoda l’applicazione. I risultati sono TOP, ma abbiamo una remora sul dopo-shampoo della stessa linea: finché asciugate i capelli con il phon, tutto bene, ma se ad un certo punto voleste accantonarlo (per esempio, perché ci sono 50 gradi all’ombra), allora preparatevi a capelli non appesantiti o unti, ma un po’ piatti sì.

Un grande classico che, in effetti, funziona. Ha un pro e un contro: è l’unico di questi che si trova facilmente al supermercato ma è anche l’unico che non fa nemmeno un accenno di schiuma, risultando proprio come un olio. Bisogna fare un po’ più attenzione.

Questo è un ottimo prodotto, che, in qualche modo, ci ha aperto al mondo degli SLES-free e ci ha fatto comprendere il problema della forfora grassa. Anche il Preshampoo (30€) è fantastico! Uniche note di demerito, un prezzo un po’ alto e un forte odore di pino. I risultati però, si vedono.

Iniziamo con lo spiegare cosa sia questo maledetto (?) SLS o SLES. Un’altra ossessione da “fissate”? No e, anzi, sappiate che SLS e SLES non sono nemmeno considerati “rossi” (quindi “da evitare”) dal biodizionario. Quindi non stiamo parlando di “passare al bio” (e, anzi: stiamo parlandoanche con chi usa solo prodotti certificati), ma di chiederci se, un certo ingrediente, possa farci bene o male, in base alle nostre esigenze e caratteristiche.
È VERO CHE IL LAURISOLFATO DI SODIO È TOSSICO?
Innanzituttto, spegniamo gli allarmismi. Le più informate di voi potrebbero aver sentito parlare del laurilsolfato di sodio (SLS, appunto), come di una sostanza tossica. Nì.
Il laurilsolfato di sodio è innanzitutto un tensioattivo e fa anche delle cose utili (se no perché metterlo, quasi sempre in cima agli ingredienti degli shampoo?) tra cui quella di combinarsi con le particelle di grasso (l’unto da sporcizia varia e il sebo) e asportarle via con il risciacquo (esattamente ciò che chiediamo ad uno shampoo, insomma). Inoltre contribuisce a rendere la consistenza dello shampoo schiumogena, per facilitarne una applicazione omogenea.

Purtroppo però, l’azione sgrassante è abbastanza aggressiva e potrebbe, quindi, asportare anche ciò che invece protegge il nostro cuoio capelluto. Un po’ come capita a chi ha la pelle grassa e usa detergenti troppo potenti: si ritrova con la pelle secca e irritata, e magari con una overproduzione di sebo.
Ma prima abbiamo parlato della possibilità che fosse tossico. Beh, per fare chiarezza citeremo uno studio dell’ ”American Cancer Society“. I risultati dello studio confermano che l’uso di SLS come detergente è irritante per la pelle, ma non è pericolosa a livello di tossicità. Lo sarebbe solo se utilizzata ad una concentrazione ben più alta di quella che si fa in ambito cosmetico.
In poche parole: irritante sì, dannoso a livello di salute, no. Ecco perché, può darsi che una ragazza abbia una fluentissima chioma lucente e un cuoio capelluto in ottima forma, continuando ad usare SLS e può darsi che, invece, interromperne l’utilizzo vi cambi la vita.
Come per tante cose, potrebbe valer la pena provare, insomma!

Allora, quindi, per chi potrebbe essere adatto uno shampoo senza solfati? Ovviamente, per chi ha il cuoio capelluto delicato o irritabile (leggi: chi sigratta sempre la testa dopo essersi lavata i capelli).
