MAKE-UP BASE PERFECT: The 10 BEST NEW FOUNDATION OF 2017 !

It arrived one that moments I know you wait more for the number of the top of the year, that the best foundation! This year there are ten who have won me over and lie in every price range, from inexpensive to expensive super.

It is also provided with suitable for every need, from light and bright background the matte versions. In addition, I will reveal even what my top super year! So here's the best of 2016 foundation!




FOR DRY SKIN OR MATURE: KIKO SKIN TONE FOUNDATION

Kiko Skin Tone Foundation. Price: 15,95 €

The new Kiko fund up to 39 color references from neutral, warm and rosy, and the effect is illuminating. Halfway between a bottom and a BB cream, it should be fixed with the powder to avoid get shiny, but especially when applied with your hands and in a couple of past covers well redness and shows no cuticles. It is slightly moisturizing and also suitable for mature skin. With the harsh face powder about 5-6 hours.



FRESH AND BRIGHT: RIMMEL Fresher SKIN FOUNDATION

Rimmel foundation Fresher Skin. Price: € 11.90

A cross between mousse and gel is fresh, no overhead and is easy to apply. The finish is, also in this case, bright, and the coverage is not high but the durability is good. In short, it is always between those types of foundation that I love very much for their natural effect and not contrived: I prefer to cover the most pigmented blemishes with a concealer rather than having a heavy base.

THE TWO FOUNDATION CULT OF DIOR: Diorskin FOREVER AND NUDE

Both the House of Dior foundation cult are always among my favorites and this year I have used them very much.

DIOR Diorskin Forever Fluid Foundation. On Sephora.it to € 44.90

This year I tried the new improved formula of Forever, and I was pleasantly surprised by its ease of preparation. The coverage is medium to high and if you are not too dark spots you may not need anything else; despite the high pigmentation it remains not pasty, is well fixed and does not move during the day. The effect is opaque but not excessively dusty. The only flaw, which have complained several beauty guru, is the color selection, which turn a bit 'all towards yellow.



Instead, the Diorskin Nude foundation is one of my favorites of all time and that this year I used a lot; as you know, together with BB Creams of the same line it is now an iconic product, with good coverage but by a beautiful glow effect.

ONE OF THE MOST USED IN BACKSTAGE: FOUNDATION BURBERRY FRESH GLOW

The Burberry Fresh Glow is part of the foundation loved ones that are used a lot during the fashion shows or photo shoots; lights and no overhead, and is liquid but not too much. I use it with the sponge.



I was advised by a model and, although I heard about it for a long, until this year I had never bought because in the past have been quite disappointed by Burberry products and given the cost did not want to risk it! But in the end I decided it was well worth the effort, because the effect is really nice, bright and natural as I like it.

THE CHEAPEST: ESSENCE FOUNDATION CAMOUFLAGE

I find that the Essence foundation released last year, I love nude, it is better, but this is more valid for those who need more coverage.

The finish is matte and the coverage is medium-high; as I said I love most bright bottoms, but I find that in its category this is a very good foundation also considering the price it has. It lasts several hours and can be used, in fact, both as a foundation and as a corrector with respect to the face: dark circles on the other hand is a bit 'too dry.

IT COSMETICS CC CREAM BASE FACE Multitasking

Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream. Price: $ 15 (the travel size)

In Italy there is not, unfortunately: it is a CC Cream which is proposed as a multitasking product: it has a coverage of foundation, an SPF 50 and anti-aging ingredients. Smoothes your face without making a "paltone" outcome but remains pretty bright.

CC CREAM OF GIORGIO ARMANI, MY TOP SUMMER



It is one of the products that I used more this summer, in fact, is among my top of July. I found it really good, because it too is more covering a DC classic cream and is very light: during the holidays, with the most fresh and rested his face, that was enough and I did not need other products.

È arrivato uno che momenti che so attendete di più per la serie dei top dell’anno, ovvero i migliori fondotinta! Quest’anno ce ne sono ben dieci che mi hanno conquistato e si collocano in ogni fascia di prezzo, dai super economici ai costosi.

Ne troverete inoltre di adatti ad ogni tipo di esigenza, dal fondo leggero e luminoso alle versioni più coprenti. Inoltre, vi svelerò anche quale è il mio super top dell’anno! Ecco quindi i migliori fondotinta del 2016!




PER PELLI SECCHE O MATURE: KIKO SKIN TONE FOUNDATION

Kiko Skin Tone Foundation. Prezzo: 15,95€

Il nuovo fondo di Kiko ha ben 39 referenze colore tra neutri, caldi e rosati, e l’effetto è illuminante. A metà tra un fondo e una BB cream, va fissato con la cipria per evitare di lucidarsi, ma soprattutto se applicato con le mani e in un paio di passate copre bene i rossori e non evidenzia le pellicine. È leggermente idratante e adatto anche alle pelli mature. Con la cipria dura circa 5-6 ore.



FRESCO E LUMINOSO: FONDOTINTA RIMMEL FRESHER SKIN

Rimmel fondotinta Fresher Skin. Prezzo: 11,90€

A metà tra mousse e gel, è fresco, non appesantisce ed è facile da applicare. Il finish è, anche in questo caso, luminoso, e la coprenza non è alta ma la durata è buona. Insomma, è sempre tra quei tipi di fondotinta che io amo molto per il loro effetto naturale e non artificioso: preferisco coprire le imperfezioni più pigmentate con un correttore piuttosto che avere una base pesante.

I DUE FONDOTINTA CULT DI DIOR: DIORSKIN FOREVER E NUDE

I due fondotinta cult di casa Dior sono sempre tra i miei preferiti e anche quest’anno li ho utilizzati moltissimo.

DIOR Diorskin Forever Fondotinta Fluido. Su Sephora.it a 44,90€

Quest’anno ho provato la nuova formula migliorata del Forever, e mi ha piacevolmente colpito per la sua facilità di stesura. La coprenza è medio alta e se non avete macchie troppo scure potreste non aver bisogno d’altro; nonostante l’alta pigmentazione non resta pastoso, si fissa bene e non si muove durante la giornata. L’effetto è opaco ma non eccessivamente polveroso. L’unico difetto, di cui si sono lamentate diverse beauty guru, è la selezione colori, che virano un po’ tutti verso il giallo.



Invece, il Diorskin Nude è uno dei miei fondotinta preferiti di sempre e che anche quest’anno ho usato moltissimo; come sapete, insieme alla BB Creme della stessa linea è ormai un prodotto iconico, caratterizzato da buona coprenza ma da un bellissimo effetto glow.

UNO DEI PIÙ USATI NEI BACKSTAGE: FONDOTINTA BURBERRY FRESH GLOW

Il Fresh Glow di Burberry fa parte dei fondotinta cari che vengono usati moltissimo durante le sfilate o i servizi fotografici; illumina e non appesantisce, ed è liquido ma non troppo. Io lo uso con la spugnetta.



Mi è stato consigliato da una modella e, anche se ne sentivo parlare da tanto, fino a quest’anno non lo avevo mai acquistato perché in passato sono stata abbastanza delusa dai prodotti Burberry e visto il costo non volevo rischiare! Ma alla fine mi sono decisa e ne è valsa la pena, perché l’effetto è davvero bello, luminoso e naturale come piace a me.

IL PIÙ ECONOMICO: FONDOTINTA ESSENCE CAMOUFLAGE

Trovo che il fondotinta Essence uscito l’anno scorso, I love nude, sia migliore, ma questo è più valido per chi ha bisogno di maggiore coprenza.

Il finish è opaco e la coprenza è medio-alta; come ho già detto io amo di più i fondi luminosi, ma trovo che nella sua categoria questo sia un fondotinta molto buono anche considerando il prezzo che ha. Dura diverse ore e si può usare, appunto, sia come fondotinta sia come correttore per quanto riguarda il viso: sulle occhiaie invece risulta un po’ troppo secco.

IT COSMETICS CC CREAM, BASE VISO MULTITASKING

Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream. Prezzo: da 15$ (la travel size)

In Italia non c’è, purtroppo: si tratta di una CC Cream che si propone come un prodotto multitasking: ha infatti una coprenza da fondotinta, una protezione SPF 50 e ingredienti anti-invecchiamento. Leviga il viso senza fare un effetto “paltone”, anzi resta bella luminosa.

CC CREAM DI GIORGIO ARMANI, IL MIO TOP ESTIVO



È uno dei prodotti che ho usato di più quest’estate, infatti è tra i miei top del mese di luglio. Mi sono trovata veramente bene, perché anch’essa è più coprente di una CC cream classica ed è molto luminosa: durante le vacanze, con il viso più fresco e riposato, bastava quella e non avevo bisogno di altri prodotti.

Avete letto le ultime news vero? Il 2017 sarà l’anno dei ponti, l’anno in cui i giorni festivi nel calendario saranno casualmente (e fortunatamente per noi) vicini ai weekend. Siamo solo alla prima settimana di gennaio e già sento che questo 2017 ci regalerà delle grandi emozioni. Insomma, almeno per noi in redazione, fine settimana lunghi significano viaggiare, e anche se non molto lontano, almeno evadere dai confini nazionali. Abbiamo scritto a lungo sulle grandi capitali europee come Parigi, Barcellona o Berlino, adesso invece vi proponiamo delle città, sempre del Vecchio Continente, meno conosciute… ma non per questo meno interessanti. Date uno sguardo alla gallery e segnatevi i weekend che preferite. E prenotate!

Winter 2017? It’s a real fairy tale!

Once upon a time there was a king, who told his tailor: «Tell me a story». And the tailor began…sawing. These could be the opening lines of a book narrating the Fall Winter 2016-2017 collections, describing designers who went back to their youth, getting inspiration from fairy tales and from tales from their — and our — childhood. One prominent example was the Dolce & Gabbana show, which featured princesses dressed in blue, with crystal shoes and a wonderful scenery with Cinderella and a pumpkin carriage, as well as Sleeping Beauties in beds of roses, and lovesick damsels missing their prince, and even openly declaring that on paillette-covered tees. The Sicilian duo were not the only ones to be charmed by the world of fairy tales, though: this winter, references to fairy tales, famous and not so famous, were everywhere, either in prints, details or whole outfits. On Paul Smith‘s catwalk, the Grimm Brothers’ Snow White walked with a necklace shaped like the core of the infamous poisoned apple hanging from her neck, and at Stella McCartney‘s show, we saw a swan print that totally reminded us of the happy ending of the Ugly Duckling. At Alexander McQueen‘s, the Princess from the Princess and the Pea looked sleepy when she left her bed, dragging blankets and a duvet with her. Quotes and references to Alice in Wonderland also abounded, showing as the White Rabbit’s watch or as the Cheshire Cat’s eyes peeking at us from a long evening gown — Alice celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, and became a box office hit thanks to the film Alice Through the Looking Glass, the sequel of 2010’s Alice in Wonderland. At Yohji Yamamoto‘s shows, makeup reminded us of that of the Queen of Hearts, only in a very gothic version. So, are you ready to live your fairy tale Winter?

C’era una volta un re, che disse alla sua sarta: «Raccontami una storia». E la sarta incominciò… a cucire. Potrebbe iniziare così il libro che narra delle collezioni Autunno Inverno 2016-2017, per disegnare le quali gli stilisti sono tornati bambini, ispirandosi alle favole e ai racconti della loro e della nostra infanzia. Un esempio su tutti è quello della sfilata di Dolce & Gabbana, che in una scenografia da Cenerentola con tanto di zucca-carrozza ha mandato in scena principesse vestite di azzurro con tanto di scarpine di cristallo, Belle Addormentate in letti di rose e fanciulle che si si struggono d’amore per il loro principe – e lo dichiarano con T-shirt ricamate in paillettes. Ma il duo siciliano non è il solo ad essersi lasciato affascinare dalle fiabe: questo inverno infatti è ricco di riferimenti a favole più o meno conosciute, disseminati qua e là e raccontati da stampe, dettagli o interi outfit. Sulla passerella di Paul Smith, la Biancaneve dei fratelli Grimm sfila con al collo il torsolo della sua mela avvelenata; su quella di Stella McCartney sfila una stampa di cigni che ricorda tanto il finale a lieto fine de Il Brutto Anatroccolo. Da Alexander McQueen convivono una versione piuttosto assonnata de La Principessa sul Pisello, che scende dal letto trascinandosi dietro coperte e piumone, e molte citazioni ad Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie (che nel 2015 ha festeggiato i 50 dalla prima edizione del romanzo e lo scorso giugno è stato nuovamente protagonista al botteghino con Alice attraverso lo specchio, sequel di Alice in Wonderland del 2010) tra orologi da Bianconiglio  o gli occhioni magnetici dello Stregatto che fanno capolino sul vestito lungo da sera. E da Yohji Yamamoto il makeup ricorda da vicino quello della Regina di Cuori, ma in chiave super dark. Siete pronte a vivere un inverno da favola?

it’s your lucky day. We are creating endless wishlists, and we decided to share our list of 25 lipsticks for Fall Winter 2016-2017 with you today. Obviously, it was very difficult to cut the number down to 25, it was way longer before. We rationalized by dividing them by color: nude ones, pink hues, reds, plum hues, and extra dark ones. Bright lipstick during winter? please , Yes!

Nobody wears bright lipstick during winter – except for red. It’s almost a cliché by now, red lipstick is basically part of the holiday season, as much as Christmas lights, mistletoe and Mariah Carey’s hits. It’s time to change that. New year, new look! So, why not start with something simple, like lipstick? There’s a reason why lipstick is women’s most beloved cosmetic: it makes your complexion look radiant, it can turn your day around without entirely changing your features, and without taking 3 hours to perfect your technique (as you have to, with eyeliner). Let’s start the new year together with this resolution: try at least one new look every month.
