She wrote a generation’s new anthem — we can basically sing New Americana by heart — and she is an internationally renowned star, whose songs are used for movie soundtracks (Castle was used in The Huntsman: Winter’s War.) All this is, unfortunately, still not enough to protect her from online bullying. Halsey, who is the talk of town lately after deleting her Twitter profile, following hate tweets, stands out for being unique and mouthy. She is a bit of a rebel, and a bit of an outcast – just like the spectacular blue/grey lipstick shade, named after her by MAC, with whom she collaborated. The new lipstick will be hitting the shops in the next few days. We would like to declare our love for her courage, and her ability to be unique, at this sensitive time for her. Halsey, keep up the good work… Haters won’t be forever!

 

Ha scritto il nuovo inno di una generazione (la sua New Americana ormai la sappiamo a memoria), è una star di fama internazionale le cui canzoni diventano colonne sonore (Castle, per Il Cacciatore e la Regina di Ghiaccio), ma questo purtroppo non la salva dall’essere vittima del bullismo online. Halsey, chiacchieratissima in questi giorni dopo aver cancellato il suo profilo Twitter in seguito ai messaggi di odio ricevuti, spicca per la sua unicità e irriverenza. È un po’ ribelle e un po’ outcast, come la tonalità di rossetto a cui ha dato il suo nome nella collaborazione con MAC che arriva nei negozi in questi giorni – un grigio/blu davvero spettacolare. In questo momento per lei delicato, vogliamo dichiarare il nostro amore per il suo coraggio e la sua capacità di essere unica. Halsey, continua così, gli hater non dureranno a lungo!
