Would you be brave enough to put yourselves to the test with makeup and brushes in front of a makeup artist? Valentina did just that when she went to Florence with Francesca, to visit the Chanel beauty and fragrance boutique, and test some of the services available to customers. After coming up with a perfect look for her using the colors of the Spring 2016 L.A. Sunrise palette, these experts only applied makeup onto half of her face, while Valentina did the other half, showing remarkable ease with foundation and eyeshadow! Would you like to copy her day to night makeup? Here is our step-by-step tutorial!

You should start with a base, obviously, which is foundation in this case. Teint Les Beiges (N° 32) was chosen for Valentina, and applied in one layer with a flat synthetic brush from Les Pinceaux de Chanel. To make your complexion more uniform, use a touch of Les Beiges Poudre (N° 20), and if possible, you can also use a slightly darker shade (in this case, that would be N° 30) to give it a warmer glow. After that, we can move on to brightening, using Éclat Lumière (N° 30) on the higher section of your cheekbone, as well as on the bridge of your nose, your brow ridge and in the middle of your Cupid’s bow.

Let’s take care of our lips then. The first step here will be applying Rouge Coco Shine in Energy (N° 118). To further define the contouring of your lips, lightly trace a line with Crayon Lèvres in Rouge Candy (N° 90).

Focus on your eyes now. You can start defining your look with Crayon Kohl in Ambre (N° 62), which you should also apply in the outer corner of your eye, for giving depth to your gaze. You can continue with eyeshadows from the Tissé Beverly Hills palette. Make good use of the warmer tones in there to create a smoky eye look — the one secret to success with this kind of makeup is blending, so make sure you focus on balancing the amount of the two types of eyeshadow on your eyelid. Put a touch of Poudre Lumière Glacée in the inner corner of your eyes, to light up your look and finish off your makeup and… You are done!

Dopo che gli esperti hanno studiato un look perfetto per lei usando i colori della palette Spring 2016 L.A. Sunrise e le hanno truccato solo metà del viso, Valentina ha truccato l’altra metà dimostrando di essere perfettamente a suo agio tra fondotinta e ombretto! Si parte dalla base, ovviamente, in questo caso il fondotinta. Per Valentina è stato scelto il nuovo Teint Les Beiges (N° 32), applicato in una passata con un pennello a lingua di gatto della linea Les Pinceaux de Chanel. Per uniformare l’incarnato, si passa un tocco di Les Beiges Poudre (N° 20). Per scaldare il viso, se vi è possibile, utilizzate anche una tonalità leggermente più scura (in questo caso N° 30). A questo punto ci si può dedicare ad illuminare, utilizzando Éclat Lumière (N° 30) sulla parte alta dello zigomo, il dorso del naso, sotto l’arcata sopracciliare e infine sull’arco di cupido.

Si passa quindi alle labbra, dove il primo passaggio è l’applicazione del Rouge Coco Shine in Energy (N° 118). Per definire ulteriormente il contorno della bocca, si passa delicatamente una linea di Crayon Lèvres in Rouge Candy (N° 90).

Ora l’attenzione si sposta sugli occhi. Si inizia delineando lo sguardo con il Crayon Kohl in Ambre (N° 62), utilizzato anche nella V esterna per dare profondità al look. Si prosegue con gli ombretti della palette Tissé Beverly Hills della collezione LA Sunrise, sfruttando in particolar modo le due cialde dai toni caldi, utilizzate per creare uno smoky eye. Il successo di questo trucco è fatto tutto dalla sfumatura, perciò concentratevi sul bilanciamento dei due ombretti sulla palpebra. Per dare più luminosità al look e concludere l’applicazione, basta un tocco di Poudre Lumière Glacée nell’angolo interno degli occhi e il gioco è fatto.
