Abbiamo sempre pensato che alcune decadi della storia siano state per noi fonte di grandi ispirazioni. Ancora oggi il make-up e l’abbigliamento da Pin-up è uno dei più gettonati, sappiamo anche riprodurre fedelmente un Cut -Crease anni ’60 e pare che l’abbigliamento anni ’70 sia tornato a mandar fuori di testa le fashion-victim!
Eppure ogni periodo storico ha un suo trend che avremmo preferito non conoscere. Di cosa parliamo? Vestiti che impediscono il movimento, cappelli minuscoli, calze variopinte e molto altro ancora! Iniziamo subito a vedere i peggiori trend dei primi del Novecento!
1900: IL CORSETTO
Il trend peggiore dei primi del Novecento è senza ombra di dubbio quello di indossare il corsetto sotto i vestiti. Al tempo era un indumento davvero alla moda che richiedeva tantissimo tempo per essere indossato e ovviamente comportava non pochi problemi di salute: difficoltà respiratorie, costole e organi interni danneggiati… tutto questo per un vitino da vespa, segno di femminilità e sensualità.
Tuttavia sembra proprio che ancor oggi il corsetto sia un accessorio molto amato dalle celebrità. Come sempre le sorelle Kardashian amano (ri)lanciare nuove mode: eccole con indosso un corsetto modellante.

Le gonne a sirena, lo si sa, non sono per tutte. Ma probabilmente la Hobble Skirt non è per nessuna! Uno dei tratti distintivi delle donne degli anni ’20 e ’30 è sicuramente la cloche. Ma se talvolta poteva assumere forme asimmetriche e anche sensuali, magari coprendo solo un occhio del viso, in altre occasioni diventava, di fatto, una sorta di scodella rovesciata che incorniciava il volto facendolo apparire tondo e anche un po’ ombroso. Sembra perfetto per un bimbo appena nato, assomigliando proprio alle cuffiette per bebè, ma per una donna adulta? Forse non è poi un trend così azzeccato, che ve ne pare?
Il senso del pudore in quegli anni era poi molto sentito, e quindi come recarsi in spiaggia senza apparire volgari? Con un vestito da bagno! Semplice, no? Anche in questo caso non si tratta di un indumento molto comodo: immaginate come doveva essere immergersi in acqua così vestite. Per non parlare del dopo, quando questi deliziosi abitini dovevano anche asciugarsi!
1940: LE MINI BOMBETTE
No, ragazze, non parliamo di dolcetti ripieni, bensì di cappelli in miniatura! Uno dei peggiori trend in voga negli anni ’40 era quello di indossare questi mini copricapi che in fin dei conti servivano a ben poco!
L’effetto è un po’ quello dei cavalli da carrozza, con quei mini-cappelli con i buchi per le orecchie, non è vero?

Negli anni ’60 la moda spesso prendeva pieghe futuriste. I giri nello spazio e la fantascienza avevano contribuito alla creazione di un immaginario molto influente per gli stilisti dell’epoca. Ma non sempre i capi nati con l’immagine di un futuro fatto di contatti con gli alieni e gite nella galassia hanno sfornato meraviglie.
